Magnolia Blossoms Amidst the CloudsMarge wanted me to fire up the grill one night. After cleaning the grill, I was about ready to put in the charcoal. I don't
have the modern conveniences, darn it. I noticed the clouds darkening above - moving up from the South.
I was
just able to get the cover back on the grill, when I began to be inundated with heavy rain. A few minutes later,
the cloudburst eased off, and there was a sizable patch of sunlight. But more gray was moving toward the window of light.
Earlier, Marge and I had been admiring the magnolia blossoms all around us.
But now, with the gray behind, you
could see many more blossoms than we could before. Very beautiful.
Maybe there are some fighting pain and fatigue,
or feeling down.
Here's a magnolia blossom, from me to you.
